The head of the betting house had originally thought the machines would be awesome to entertain apathetic wives of a few of the largest whales of the betting house. Little did he know that slot games would be an enjoyable activity for almost everyone and that the allure would go further than the tired wives. At this time, it is said, slots comprise in excess of 2/3rds of all money generated by U.S. betting houses.

Slot machines certainly have a full history. From the small creation of the mid-19th century to the billion dollar industry of today, slot machines will continue to expand in popularity.
