There’s an urban legend out there concerning a man who could go into any Gambling den in any city, walk right up to a slot machine, whisper something into its slot, tug on its arm and out would pour a jackpot.

He was recognized as the Slot machine game Whisperer.

Well, I’ve certainly not met anyone like that. Except in almost each Gambling establishment I have been I have heard individuals speak of this legend.

I have witnessed people talk to slot machines. I’ve observed folks yell at slots. I’ve viewed men and women smack slot machines. But I’ve never noticed them win the jackpot right after doing such a thing.

The first time I heard about the Slot machine Whisperer I was in a Reno Gambling establishment. I was betting twenty-one when I heard a buzz go via the Gambling establishment. The player next to me, his name was Max, advised me that the buzz was because somebody had spotted the Slot machine game Whisperer enter the Gambling establishment. He then went on to tell me the story of the Whisperer and how he had mastered slots machine games.

Shortly after that there were security personel running all over the place. And they were all bee lined to the slot area.

I’ve by no means run into the Slot machine Whisperer. I do not know if he even exists. I believe of him as an urban legend or a myth some slot machine player dreamed up.

Except the thought of an individual who can master slot machines just by speaking softly to them is kind of enchanting. Like a current day Betting house Robin Hood.
